Best ever .....

.... leaving present (2017 style)

80 x top quality English Breakfast Tea bags

Courtesy of a girl in yr 10. Genius, sheer genius.
It is not often I am given something so thoughtful, cheap, portable and useful.

Now all I need is a new kettle and a flex with a 2-pin European plug.... tea drinking will not be hampered by change of location.

Adapters are cheap, will mean that you will be able to use your stuff again if you ever return, and will be a conversation piece once you've learned to communicate over a cup of tea. If you become "the odd Englishwoman with funny plugs" you'll never want for people stopping by for a quick shufti.

Can you get Kettles As We Know Them abroad these days?

Be prepared for never wanting to finish the last teabag - what a delightful present!

I'm just being stubborn! Everything else will have adaptors, I just want a 2-pin plug on the kettle... I've even found a 2-pin kettle flex.
Why this is important, I don't know, and neither can I explain why I felt the need to buy a chisel and a set of jewellers screwdrivers take out with me....
